Main function: Detect PoE voltage, current, power, PSE standards power supply modes, check RJ45 cables

1. Three selectable scan modes: AC filter mode / Analog mode / PoE mode

2. Detect the presence of AC voltage (50V-1000V). Test physical status for STP, UTP LAN cable.

3. Measure the cable length accurately, the range is 200m.

4. Hub flash to locate the network port by the port light flashing on the hub/switch. Available for 10M/100M/1000M hub/switch.

5. PoE test: identify which pins are supplying power and detect how much voltage, identify which PSE type (at/af default)

The NF-8209 is a new generation that offers digital and analog signaling, all in one toner and network probe. It has three modes for cable tracking options such as digital mode, analog mode and PoE mode. That means it's equipped with the most powerful cable locating technologies for any work environment. In addition, it includes cable length measurement, cable failure testing, PoE testing, hub burst and NCV function, all of which make it a must-have tool for cabling engineers.

Product Operation

1. CONT - Test open, short, cross, ect for STP, UTP cable.

2. Length - measure the length of the LAN cable, the range is from 2.5m to 200m.

3. Scan - Analog / Digital / PoE mode to locate LAN cables.

4. PoE - available for standard or non-standard PoE switch (5 to 60V), identifies standard AT or AF of PSE type.

5. Flash - Locate the network port by the flashing port light on the switch/router.
